Compassionate Communication
By David Morin and Elisa Ramos
This workshop on Compassionate Communication will consist of the most important lessons David has learned from serving others through active listening and communication from the past ten years, from volunteering with the Peace Corps in South East Asia to successfully managing a multimillion international sales territory in Corporate America.
In more recent years, I’ve discovered many more layers to listening as a Poet, Death Doula, and Prison Program Manager.
Join us for a unique and grounded approach on navigating the different layers to listening and how witnessing others can help improve not only our relationships to each other, but to ourselves as well.
This workshop will teach how we can communicate compassionately with others and how that allows us to maintain healthy relationships and boundaries. Listening in layers allows you to create and maintain deeper connections. It also helps you to hold space for the people you care about while maintaining the boundaries necessary for your own peace of mind and self care.
